A. On-site shredding is the most secure shredding process available. All your materials are shredding on site at your location, so you know they have been securely destroyed. With off-site shredding your intact documents are placed in bins and stored in the back of a box truck before being brought to a warehouse to be shredded. Once at the warehouse your still un-shredded documents can sit for days waiting to be hand sorted and then shredded.
ShredQuick offers only highly-secure on-site shredding.
A. Off-site shredding companies hand sort all the confidential documents that they collect to maximize the recycling value of the paper. (Recycling companies pay more for a pure white paper that has not been mixed with colored paper such as file folders and post-it notes.) This hand sorting means that off-site shredding employees would need to handle every one of your confidential documents…and that can put your information at risk.
ShredQuick never touches any of your confidential documents. All documents go directly from the security bins to our shredding truck.
A. We offer two kinds of document shredding services. If you just need a one-time shred we offer a bulk shredding service. If you want to shred your everyday confidential documents we offer our on-going, route shredding service.
A. Just give us a call and we’ll give you a highly-competitive, no-hassle price quote and confirm your price in writing. Then on your scheduled service day we’ll pick up your boxes and bring them right to our mobile shredding truck and shred everything on site. If you’d like you can even view the entire process to ensure that all your documents have been securely shredded.
A. The process is similar to our bulk shredding process. First we’ll deliver the number of locking security containers that you need, so that all your employees can simply discard their everyday confidential documents into the containers. Then on your scheduled service day we’ll empty your security containers into one of our larger containers and bring them to our mobile shredding truck. There all your documents are shredded on site while you watch. (To see a step-by-step review of our shredding processes, click here.)
A. We’ll consult with you to determine how often you think you’ll need a pickup. Then once our security bins are in place we can adjust service frequency to meet your needs.
A. Just call us and we’ll come out early.
A. We can secure any sized bin you require; however most of our clients choose either a 64 gallon bin or a 32 gallon executive console. (To view our security containers, click here.)
A. We provide free security containers to all our on-going-service customers.
A. You can put any color or type of paper, paper clips, staples, rubber bands, labels and file tabs into our security containers.
A. Yes! ShredQuick has been awarded the highest security rating AAA Certified, by the National Association for Information Destruction (NAID) every year since 2002. Just click here to verify our standing.
A. There are two reasons. First, office shredders are not secure because most use a strip shredding method to destroy documents. That makes your confidential shredded documents easy for dumpster divers to reassemble. The second reason is cost. When you consider the initial cost of the office shredder plus all the replacement shredders you’ll need, then factor in the cost of labor, shredder maintenance and disposal it costs at least twice as much to use office shredders than it does to have your confidential documents shredded by a shredding service like ShredQuick.
A. We can shred almost anything. We routinely destroy paper clips, staples and books. We can also shred binders, CDs, hard drives, plastics, magnetic or optical media and fabrics, as long as separated from the paper.
A. Yes. Once we take ownership of your documents on your pickup day, we’ll issue you an instant Certificate of Destruction for your records to help protect you in the event of an audit or lawsuit.
A. Many recycling companies choose not to shred your confidential information. They ship your intact documents overseas leaving them vulnerable to unauthorized access. If you’re concerned about the environment, please remember that we recycle 100% of your documents after they are securely destroyed.
A. Yes. We recycle 100% of the paper we shred.
